In Silicon聽Valley, I constantly hear about companies’ struggles to recruit quality engineers. This Inc. Magazine article,聽“,”聽sheds light on the subject.
It covers what you’d expect鈥攊t鈥檚 not just about a high salary,聽engineers also need a challenging role that offers them the opportunity for personal growth and product impact. But what caught my attention was WHERE the top software engineers are coming from. For undergrads, it was the usual suspects: #1 was Berkeley and #2 was UCLA. What may come as a surprise to some is that #3 was University of Waterloo.
